Hello , from time to time the gpu makes some weird sound.
I assembled a new setup , all good , temp , noise , performance , just worried about the sound.

MotherBoard :MSI B550-A PRO
Case : Phanteks Eclipse P500A
CPU : Ryzen 5950x with Dark Rock PRO 4
Crucial Ballistix 3600 MHz, DDR4, DRAM,32Go (16Go x4), CL16
Disk : Samsung SSD 970 PRO M.2 PCIe NVMe & Seagate BarraCuda, 8 To
GPU :Gigabyte AORUS GeForce RTX 3080 XTREME 10G (rev. 2.0) (LHR)
Alim : Corsair HX1000 80PLUS Platinum

If someone can tell me what it is , thank you !!! :geek:

Sounded like small metal piece was rattling around in metal enclosure.

Open up your PC, put your ear to it and locate the exact point where that sound comes from.
It could be inside the fan bearing. Or it could be loose screw in your case.

Full speed or idle fan, it doesn't change at all. The sound is like " sound , sound " , ( the sound in the video ) , so it does "sound" 2 times and after some amount of times it only does "sound" one time and the noise is gone for some times .
The sound is more in the end of the GPU ( closer to the front case )

How frequently does this sound occur? Is the amount of time between it occurring similar each time, or more random?

And just to make certain, this doesn't happen to be the "WATERFORCE" version of that card with integrated AIO liquid cooler, right? The fans are on the card's heatsink and not connected by tubes to a radiator? If it were that version, it could potentially be an issue with the pump or something, but you didn't include that word in the model name, so I'm assuming not.

The sound seems to be mechanical in nature, with an echo. Perhaps it could be a fan cable getting bumped by the blades, as mentioned. Another thought though, is that the triple-fan, non-waterforce version of that card also features a relatively unique fan layout, with the middle fan overlapping the other two, and spinning in the opposite direction. It's possible that your particular card might have the middle fan installed slightly too close to one of the others, or have a bent fan blade of something, so when the blades align just right, they may occasionally graze against one another.

It's also possible is that a fan might be shutting off and making some sound when starting back up. At default settings, the fans on that card should shut off when temperatures are low, though they wouldn't normally make noise when that happens. When looking at the fans at the time the sound occurs, do you see anything happening with them? And do the RPMs vary at all in monitoring software following an occurance of the sound?
