Hello! I'll cut to the point. After a pc spring cleaning I found the CPU's socket to have some bent pins, I adjusted the easier ones, but others I cant even fathom what happened. Cool. As I turn my chip (a 7700k) I unveil a most frightful scene, the CPU now bears a mark.

I'm here to ask for some guidance. Strangely enough all os working fine, did some Benchmarking, all components are behaving as they should, so Im not so sure about what to do.

ps: its valid to note that the stain's position coincides with the messed pins

I would guess that perhaps the CPU cooler wasn't mounted correctly (not flat on the CPU). The top of the CPU may be warped too.

But as long as it is working, I wouldn't worry too much about it. The damage is done.

I would revisit the issue if you update the CPU, or change the CPU cooler.

I reckon it still works cause those pins were towards functions not-so-vital to the PC's functionality (?) Also, after unbeting, just two or three pins still look like they exploded.

I tried rubbing the stain off, I cant seem to clean It.
