So i've had this viper 2 z200 with the savage2000 chipset for about a year now. Since i've had it, nothin running in direct 3d ever runs as good as open GL. Anything using the unreal engine runs choppy as if its precaching real hard ever time i move the mouse. Also most new games either run like [-peep-] or dont run at all like red faction. I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with the mobo because i have had 3 diff motherboards since i got this card, all the other were mysteriously fried. Right now i have a tyan trinity 400 with the via chipset and the 4 in 1 drivers and all the newest drivers for the viper and it still does the same [-peep-]. My comp also does this thing where P of the times that i hit the on button the fcpu fan turns on and the power source and the cd roms and but nothing comes up and no beep or anything so i just shut it off then turn it back on and eventually it will come up. it did this with all 3 motherboards. i only have a 250w power supply if that has anything to do with it.
