I know AC Origins doesn't favor AMD GPUs, but my reference RX 580 is getting strangely low framerates. If you look at this article: https://www.pcgamer.com/assassins-creed-origins-performance-guide/
...you'll see that the reviewer's RX 580 was getting about 61 fps. However, my RX 580 is getting about 47 fps at 1080p/Medium. I realize that I have a reference model, and the reviewer was using an MSI card, but should there really be that much difference in framerates?
My RX 580 is paired with a Ryzen 7 1700. I also tested with a GTX 970 and my framerates almost exactly matched the figures in the article, so I don't think this is a CPU bottleneck.
I've also tested in Fallout 4, and the framerates of my RX 580 and the 970 I tested with were almost identical in Diamond City @ 1080p/Ultra.
Anyone have an explanation for the discrepancy in AC Origins?
