STREAMCI error

During the initial install of XP Pro on a new system (A7N8X-X board), I got the following error: "ERROR LOADING STREAMCI The specified module could not be found". The onboard sound is still not working, and during the install, we got several warning messages that I bypassed all seemingly related to audio hardware and dll's missing. Any ideas what this message means and how it can be fixed? As always, thanks!
