Streaming/Gaming with i5 8400 & GTX 1050

So i'm upgrading my CPU to a i5 8400 and i wasnt looking to buy a new GPU but i currently have a GTX 1050 and i wanted to know if i would see a performance drop or if i would be okay. Otherwise i will just upgrade but i wanted to save money.

It mainly depends on the games you are going to be playing. If you are willing to sacrifice some in game settings, the performance drop should not be that big.

I agree with you, if you are capable of selling that 1050 ti and getting a 1060, that would help you as well.
