Hello, I need to improve the quality of my streams, but I am unsure of what exactly I should upgrade in my computer, in order for the stream quality to be better.

Specs are:

CPU: Ryzen 5 2600
RAM: 16GB 1064Mhz
GPU: GTX 1060 6gb

With those specs I can stream at 720p, my PC suffers to stream at 1080p. I don't know what exactly I need to upgrade to be able to stream at 1080p.

Solution
Hey there,

In an ideal world, you'd want consider upgrading all 3 of those.

A Ryzen 2700x, 16gbs of 3200mhz+ ram and an RTX 2060 Super/AMD5700/XT or above.

You could be sure, you'd have enough resources to run at 1080p, high video quality settings with very little by way of dropped frames, and a better in game experience with higher settings.

Hello, I need to improve the quality of my streams,
Why? How much money do you think you are losing due to the quality of your streams?

If you use your GPU with shadowplay you can increase it's priority in task manager (nvcontainer.exe) which will allow you to record 1080/60 without losing any performance.

If your recordings ar looking good but your stream is crap than the problem is with your connection and nothing you upgrade on your PC will ever fix that.
