This started happening 24 hours ago. Suddenly video quit working on my PC, I can click a video on youtube and it just hangs at 0:00 and never plays. Everything else seems to function (apps like discord/steam and web browsing are unaffected)
I have tried playing video on Firefox, Chrome, Opera, OperaGX, Edge......nothing. I have tried Youtube, Hulu, Twitch and Reddit. Streaming audio does not seem to work either. I did manage to find a couple videos on reddit posts that actually play after browsing dozens of random videos while troubleshooting, I have no idea why these outliers actually work.
I have tried a few things such as rebooting, unplugging my modem and router, and changing DNS servers. Nothing has worked yet.
None of my other devices are affected, this is only happening on my PC. Any ideas to help me troubleshoot and solve this would be greatly appreciated.
