Street games

With the phenomenal popularity of NBA Street and NFL street, I think it
would be wise for some game company to try making a real street game. I
suggest Smear The Queer, which was always the most popular recess game at my
grade school back in the day. Dodge Ball might work as well. It was always a
close second. They could use Fight Night style graphics so if you smack
someone in the face with the ball, their face gets suitably red. Score bonus
points for welts or a crotch shot. You could have some players fall down and
cry when they get hit especially hard. Now that I think of it, Dodge Ball
might be easier to create than Smear The Queer. But both classic schoolyard
games deserve a shot at videogame glory.

Dodgeball is now a televised, professional sport just like Arena Football. I
saw one of the dodgeball matches on GSN. So it is highly likely a video game
will materialize in the near future.
