Stress TEST for CPU/GPU

Is there a program for both or even individually.
need to test whether or not my CPU is f..... or not.
- Pretty much while i'm gaming it starts getting really loud (to the point i hear it through music on my headset) and scratches aswell.
Not sure but if anybody can point me in the direction of a stress test for CPU/GPU i would appreciate it.

for CPU, use prime95... it loads 100% usage each of your CPU cores... you can monitor with hwinfo

It is difficult to find a program that can be used for testing both cpu and GPU. ...

do a blend test in prime95, monitor core temps for 5-10 minutes. A CPU cooler makes a lot of noise due to overheating, which is caused by being load. Test and let us know your temps, and also tell us your system specs, CPU cooler, and fan configuration of your PC case.

I play a lot of online games, and lately when I play for an example (diablo 3) even on the lowest-of possible settings and slowly it manages to build a lot of heat it seems and it'll start getting loud and i realized just before it actually does scratch.
It's definitely http://www.vortez.net/index.php?ct=articles&action=file&id=13963 for certain that's causing the problem I opened the side panel and checked to be sure and that was roaring like insane.

temps are good if you are 57-58 under load... If I am not mistaken, that cooler is a cooler master hyper 212 evo... or one very similar, either way those are good value coolers.

It looks like the fan is becoming noisy, but according to temps, it is performing well, so it could be only dust. How old is the cooler? how long since last time you dusted the cpu cooler? (or the whole PC for that matter).

1.- you could detach the fan and clean it with a pressurized air can. Take this chance to also remove the dust from the fins. Careful when detaching, don't move the cooler itself or you will detach the contact plate from the CPU itself.

1.a.- and take this chance to also remove the cooler, clean the cooler plate and CPU and re-apply new thermal paste.

Cleaning may help reduce the noise in the fan. But if that doesn't help:

2.- Buy a reeplacement PWM (4-pin) fan. This would surely ensures no more noise.

That's correct it is a cooler master hyper 212 evo - somebody here recommended me parts at the time i had money and bought it.
That's what a mate said the fan is becoming noisy and easily replacable.
The last time dusted phew - a while probably a good 6 months or so. (entire computer)
The cooler is actually very close to 3 years old.

how much would it roughly cost for a replacement PWM (4-pin) fan? (i don't do the building) i just send it to the shop.

3 years old sounds about right to start giving issues. Should cost you between 8 and 20 bucks, depends on build quality, performance, silentness and LED.
