Strike f1 to retry boot f2 to run utilities in window xp

Hello,
no matter how i do i get no help to boot instead it give me the above prompt that
strike f1 to retry boot f2 to run utilities in window xp

and i have already removed a CMOS battery several times to clear the bios, i also tried to use the option of pressing alt tab E,F,B while the lights on caps,num and scro are on nut didnt work

Go into the BIOS screens (usually press DEL key as machine starts on desktops) or F2 or similar on laptops (watch the screen as the machine starts).

In the BIOS check that your hard drive is present and selected as the first Boot option.
