Trying to build my first PC, I managed to get the other 3 screws with some effort (they were needlessly screwed in tight). But this one won't budge doesn't matter what I do.

Basically the screw got stripped/damaged from me trying to remove it. I dunno what to do now. I can't install the CPU cooler without removing this bracket.

Motherboard is a Asus Prime B450M-Gaming/BR

Thanks in advance.

Solution
Will that bracket rotate at all? You might get enough torque on it be turning it counter clock wise while lifting up on it to turn the screw enough to loosen it.

You could try a strong epoxy and glue a post to it. After a day of drying you could try turning it with pliers.

Otherwise, common solution to stripped screws is to drill them out.

You will want a drill bit a tiny bit smaller than the holes already in the motherboard. Surround the drill site in masking tape with exposed sticky suface (build like a little dam) so any shavings are caught by the tape.
