When you run Gpu-z are you running the little video test? On first page go to bus interface info line. There you will see a question mark. Click on that and run the little render test. See if it changes the info. Sometimes it does not report the correct info until you run that.
Its a new system i build yesterday. it just bothers me why it stays on pcie 3I know you want the most performance from the 4090. Good news is scalability on the 4090 shows pci express 3.0 doesn't hinder performance. On the other hand, I assume you've cleared the bios? Did you do a clean uninstall of the display driver from the prior card?
already tried looks like more people having this problem. Is there a bios setting to set the pci express? I can't access the product page. Have you tried upgrading the bios if a new revision exists?
already have the latest one. i will propably wait this out . It eases my mind now that i encounter more peoples with the same problemOh dang!!!!! good find. Is there a bios update? Have you opened a case with Asus? Usually mobo manufacturers won't do a thing about this until enough people complain.
