Strix 970 Different Models

I bought an Asus Strix 970. Fell in love but the need for more power soon came. I figured I'd pick another one up and SLI. Got another card off eBay. Came in 970 box with original manual etc. But after installing my inner ocd noticed the cooler was different than the first one I bought. Subtle yet apparent differences. There are two screw's next to the strix logo. The end of the heat pipes are not as chamfered. Long story short.. Did they make different models of the same card.

Plug them in an use GPU-Z to look it should tell you if it's a 970.

If I remember correctly there was two different variations of the card released.
