I purchased the Asus Strix GTX 1080ti OC gpu seen here:
https://www.asus.com/us/ROG-Republic-Of-Gamers/ROG-STRIX-GTX1080TI-O11G-GAMING/
The gpu has 2 4-Pin fan headers for connecting chassis fans as can be seen in this photo:

I have one case fan which I wish to power via the gpu, its a bottom intake that blows almost directly into the card however the fan plug is a 3 Pin. I read online that it will still work on a 4 pin header, it just won't have the variable speed or PWM from the 4th pin, instead the fan will just run at max rpm all the time which is fine with me. My question is, from the angle viewed in the picture above of the 4-pin headers, would I plug the fan into the left 3 or the right 3 pins for example XXXO or OXXX
Thanks in advance if you can help!
Side note, this info isn't available in any of the included info for the gpu nor is it in any of the info available via the product/support pages for the gpu. Just letting you know so someone doesn't waste time in an attempt to be helpful by download the manual to find the answer... already tried, also tried Asus live chat support however apparently they just "End of Discussion." and bang on you the second their hours are up so whoever was looking into it I guess was done and ready to clock out lol
