Strix z370e red led on boot.

Rog strix z370 motherboard. Red led light has turned on, (cpu issue).
I was just changing some windows settings and downloading steam games when my pc froze and crashed. Since then the light has turned on.
The pc will boot, shut down, boot again, and remain in this state without and signal to the monitor.

I have a i7 8700k, rog strix z370 motherboard, nzxt s340 case, 2 x8gb corsair vengeance ram, gtx1070 card.

Any help appreciated.

Have you tried clearing the CMOS?
