Strong illumination in keyboards

Can anyone recommend a backlit keyboard that is very bright in daylight, yet adjustable for night use? I like the key action of my previous keyboard, a Microsoft Comfort Curve 2000 Keyboard (B2L-00002), but want more features. Ideally one with recordable macros and headset, mic inputs, but that is not a deal breaker. Thanks.

Does the G510 light up brightly in daylight? How does the lighting compare to the G110? Also, is there a long throw, if that is the proper term, to the key presses like in the G110?

I wouldn't know how to judge 'light up brighly in daylight'. Are you saying outdoors?

You probably want to dig up an online video review - like on You Tube - and check for yourself.

Yeah, I've been going thru Amazon & Newegg reviews of various keyboards. Unfortunately, my local area (Atlanta, Ga) has a limited selection of kb's I can physically try in the storse.

I have an MS Sidewinder 4 with red leds. It has variable britness and good key feel, but no headset or mic input. Does have recordable macros.

Yep the Microsoft SIDEWINDER X4 Keyboard has brightness(3 levels)adjustable red led keys.
Good kb that takes a little time to get use too - compact layout.

510/110 are identical kb's other then 510 has a display.
The MS X4 puts out the brightest illumination.

The G510 by Logitech has only one brightness level but will let you do any color you want. It is decent brightness but I wish it went up about 2 more levels. So, no, it is not bright in the daylight at all. It's really only good in the dark and barely noticeable in a bright lit room.
