Hi everyone,
I have noticed with my new desktop pc that although I have full bars from a wifi signal point of view the internet speed seems to be very slow. I am getting usually between 2-3mbps download speeds which is shocking. I have an old laptop that we were using in exactly the same location in the house and I had no issues with internet speed.
The pc was built from cyberpower systems and it has a TP-Link TL-WN881ND N300 Wireless PCI Express Adapter installed into it.
Has anyone got any ideas as to why the speed is so slow? The upload speed seems to be between 20-30mbps and my virgin media plan has speeds of up to 200mbps so shouldn't be an issue on that front. Have not encountered this speed issue on any other devices whether it is mobiles, tablets or other laptops.
Any thoughts would be gratefully received!
