Strongest Intel Pentium

I play wow which uses 1 or 2 cores, I currently have a FX-8350, but want to switch to something stronger. Looking for the strongest yet cheapest CPU, so I can get better MB and graphics card.

If you can swing an I3-8100, requiring a 300 series MB (B360, z370) it's a quad core at only ~$20 more ($117 retail)

With the latest build of WoW, it will use upto 6 cores. While most demand will be on 1-4 cores, you will see it branch across upto 6.

Minimum for BfA is an i5 750, with an i7 4770 as recommended. You are going to want a quad core i3 8100 at minimum, from Intel. The 4c/8t Ryzen 1400 above would be a much better choice, if budget constrained.
