Hopefully this is the right forum section.
Long story short, just purchased a new home and there is a datacomm box in the home. Something similar to the item below.

Have been searching online to get info but can't find anything regarding these boxes and what to do with them.
House is prewired for everything. Trying to setup internet today after work.

Believe I have found the correct terminology which is structured wiring enclosure. Looks like the mode./router is suppose to hook up and feed landlines to rooms.
Have no clue how to set up. If anyone can point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance.
