Struggling to install graphics card

I'm having trouble removing my old graphics card from my pre built pc, the m15bc by asus. The screws for the graphics card holding it in place are located outside of the pc on this metal "flap", My motherboard is a few millimeters away from the backside of the case, making it stressful to navigate. I push the blue lever down on my pcie slot to release the card, i push it down so its parallel with my case but im not sure if im pushing it down far enough, but thats as far as it goes without ridiculous pressure. The graphics card wont seem to budge with what i think is more than enough pull force, so i dont go too hard because i don't want to break something. On another note, trying to remove my power connector is just as hard. It wont even budge when i try to pull the thing out. It also has this plastic prong on the to which im not sure if thats causing issues, but i squeeze a little on it because it seems like a clothespin kind of thing and try to pull again, still no luck. It's hard for me to say where the resistance is coming from in removing my graphics card especially, whether its a hidden screw or i didnt push the pcie slot down enough. HELP PLEASE ON ALL OF THIS

Solution
I finally managed to install the graphics card, it was difficult to orient properly because the case and motherboard are so close. The new card doesn't connect to the back by a screw, but it is held in place with pressure by a right-angled plate that has its own screw. The graphics card needed 2 screws to remove, but the new gtx 1060 couldn't use any screws because no holes lined up. Thanks for your help everyone!
Lay the PC down so the GPU side is pointing up so it's easier. I'm going to assume you took the outside screws out(usually 2) Try wiggling it a bit while pulling on the pcie release towards the bottom of the case. For 8/6 pin connector, squeeze the hinge as far as it can go and wiggle it out.

First, you should not have to "press hard" on the PCIe tab. Just do as you did and press it so it is parallel to the MB.
Is there a screw in the metal tab at the end of the card? Remove that screw and the card should just pull out.

As far as the power connector is concerned, just press on the plastic prong (or squeeze it) and gently try to rock the connector back and forth while you pull it out - I said gently.

Yes I actually removed 3 screws from the outside, two of them actually in the metal backside of my card and one in my actual case because there is this flap right above the graphics card the would prevent it from moving up if i didn't take it off. I read people saying not to wiggle things as it can damage connectors so im nervous about that. And its a 6 pin connector to be specific. The card design is also a little different than what i see of other gtx 650s. It has a metal flap that comes off at a right angle at the back of the card...however, unlike other cards, this flap is on the same "plane" as the fan side of my gpu, that is NOT the opposite side of usual gpus, but the adjacent side of the gpu. I'm concerned about whether my case is comatible with other graphics cards for this reason.

There should only be two screws if it takes two slots of space in the back ports. The whole card is supported by the PCIe slot and the two screws. But you had the over cover. Yeah can you take a picture of the setup from close to the PCIe slot so we can see it up close?

I know its dusty but I'm going to use a bottle of compressed air to clean it out. As you can see the screws are located outside of the case on a metal fin. Where my finger is pointing is another panel that i think i have to take out otherwise i cant move the metal back panel of the graphics card.

Take that protective plate off on the backside.

You can see one screw that's facing directly backwards that just looks like it screws into the case. It's right on level with the card.

yea I have, those pictures are the computer when i put it back together. When i was trying to take out the card that back plate and screw were off, and two screws were taken off the vertical fin for the graphic card back plate. I might send a picture tomorrow or something when i do everything again. UPDATE: I finally managed to get the 6 pin disconnected and then reconnected it. Thanks guys, but I still need to figure out how to remove the card from the back plate and slot.

When you push in the retaining clip on the right side of the slot it should kind of push the card out a tiny bit, like the ram ones do when you push on them. Once it does this, in conjunction with that motion, place your left hand on the card and pull on it straight out.

Thumb or finger mash that thing and pull firmly right at that spot on the left circle. Is that metal plate attached to anything that runs along the card?

Looking at the pics it just looks like a standard gpu install.
I would recommend taking out the wifi card first because the backplate could be overlapping slightly on the gpu backplate and holding it in.
Also its tight against the gpu inside the case and will not allow any "wiggle room" to get the gpu out.
This is the easy part, can't wait until you install the new GPU and load new drivers :)
