Stuck at BIOS screen when i installed a new graphics card

When i put the EVGA geforce GT 730 2gb gddr5 graphics card in, it only shows the BIOS screen.
it works with the old graphics card which is the HD 6670 from amd and it can boot up to windows perfectly fine. The PC is the XPS 8300. The specs are i7 2600, 1tb, power supply is 500w, and has 16gb of ram. I tried resetting the CMOS but it didn't work. Someone please help me with this issue that im having.

remove the drivers you have installed with http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/display_driver_uninstaller.html
then install NVIDA drivers.

The graphics card needs to have a legacy VBIOS because the motherboard's BIOS doesn't support UEFI VBIOS graphics cards.
