Stuck at blue Windows 10 logo

I had to restart a PC I bought recently for an update and a gtx 950 driver and now I'm stuck on the logo. The msi logo for my mobo takes longer to go away too. What I'm thinking isn't hardware, as everything was working fine until I restarted my PC. Hardware failure doesn't work like that.


Could it be that Bs Microsoft update is causing my PC to take longer to load?

Any suggestions on how to fix this please? I really need to play multiplayer. I haven't done so in 2 weeks.

on another PC, download this and create a Windows 10 Installer on USB or DVD: Win 10 media creation tool

change boot order so DVD or USB is first, normal boot drive second
boot from installer
on screen after language choices, choose repair this PC, not install
choose troubleshoot
choose advanced
choose start up repair - this will scan PC for problems - will ask for logon info

if that doesn't fix it, boot from installer again, choose repair PC again
choose troubleshoot
choose advanced
choose start up option
choose one of the three safe mode options
PC should restart in safe mode... you don't have to do anything here, sometimes just entering safe mode can fix these things. Restart PC and see if it boots now.
