Stuck at white underscore. Second OS works

Hi

I booted up like any other day and my pc was stuck at the white underscore screen.
I have another HDD ready with installed win8 in case my boot breaks. So I have an OS. But it isn't my primary.

So I can boot at my second HDD but not my primary SSD.

I can access my files in the SSD with no problems through my second installed OS.

I've tried resetting the BIOS to default.

SSD info: win8.1
HDD info: win8

Nvidia GTX 680

ASUS P8Z77-I Deluxe

3770K i7

8GB Ram

120GB SSD Corsair OS1 (faulty boot) win8.1

2TB HDD Seagate

500 HDD Samsung OS2 (successful boot) win8

looks like your OS is gone..re-install
Make a backup before reinstalling through the second HDD

What do you mean my os is gone?

It's still there, windows all the files. The bootcache file in codeintegredy

Cant i like sfc scannow on that drive or what can I do to rep it? I can get a win cd tommorow or something but, no solution without it?

Of cource all files are there, but may be corrupted. so better thing is to reinstall it
i dont think sfc help you here

kek, will check it out, using temp hdd with win8. Will see if it fixes the prob. Tyty for clarifying.

Sorry my friend answered for me haha. I ment that I will get a windows cd tomorrow (I always lose them). I'll just temporarily use the windows 8 HDD before fixing the problem. Thank you for clarifying the solution
