[SOLVED] Stuck cpu fan connector

My cpu fan connector is stuck and I’m putting pressure on the retention and trying to pull the connector up. I already ripped the Intel stock cooler wire from pulling up so hard. Please help, us there a universal guide on how to take these out( mobo is h170- pro non gaming)

Try wiggling it side to side while pulling up.

I find this makes removing connectors a lot easier

Just don't over do it. Also don't pull from the wires, that's a very easy way to pop the wires out. Pull from where ever you can grip the connector
