I am currently building my PC, and as i was plugging in the USB 3 frontpanel connector to the motherboard, i found that there was another USB 3 header in a better position for cable management. When i tried to unplug it it seemed to be really stuck. I tried to pull on it and wiggle it to the sides, i had to pull so hard that the motherboard started to flex, and as i didn't want to break it i stopped trying.

The cable is really in the way right now, as it blocks the SSD mounts on the PSU shroud.

Attached is a (way too big) picture of the header.

Squeeze the connector pressing on the tiny center tab as you lift it out. As you can see in this picture blowup below, there are tiny tabs on either side of the center that "latch" when inserted. That is so the plug doesn't easily fall out. You have to kind of ease those past the lip on the inside of the header when you want to remove it. http://usb.brando.com/prod_img/zoom/UCABL017200_02_L.jpg
