Stuck in between two builds

I’m building a PC for the first time. I was going to get a GTX 1070 and a I5-7600K and possibly overclock it, but after finishing my build, I realized that I had a little money left over. Should I get a GTX 1080 and a I7-7700K or should I just save my money? I don’t plan on streaming or recording. Only playing intense games.

Also, will my two 120mm fans and Corsair Hydro H60 120mm keep my PC cool while overclocked?

Solution
What resolution are you playing and your monitor? If 1080p, gtx 1080 is overkill, better get a 4k monitor if you get gtx 1080. 4 fans should be good. What cooler are you using?
I’m not ignoring you lol. I’m actually waiting for it, but I still didn’t get an answer on where I should actually get that and a 1080 or save my money. And the question about the fans.

Im using 1080P so I guess I’ll stick to a 1070. I’m getting a Corsair Hydro H60 (120mm cooler). The case I’m getting is the AZZA Photios 250 Gaming Case. It comes with two fans already inside

Since you are already spending this much money on new setup, a little bit more on coffee lake will benefit more. 8th gen I7 has 2 more cores than 7700k, which will be more utilized in future gaming/video editing/streaming. If for budget build, Ryzen can offer similar functionality as old gen I7 with much lower price :)
