Stuck in BIOS loop. Possible problem with SSD?

When I turned on my computer today it went straight to BIOS without me prompting it to. I restarted and again it went straight to BIOS. After looking at some threads to troubleshoot the issue I believe it may be a problem with my boot drive, a SanDisk 240gb SSD, as when I boot from my HDD, a Toshiba 1tb, it gets past BIOS to a windows repair screen. I should mention I'm running Windows 10, however I do not have a version loaded on the HDD. The odd thing is that my computer is recognizing the SSD in the BIOS menu. I have read elsewhere that if the SSD we're completely gone it would not even recognize it. I guess my question is, is my SSD beyond repair or even the cause of the issue from what I've described? Thanks and sorry if I'm not being clear, I'm kinda new to all of this.

I'm not sure how your specific BIOS works....but here's a guess.

Perhaps the SSD is fried and the BIOS is looking to boot from it and can't and it just sits in the BIOS.

...or perhaps the SSD works but for some reason is no longer bootable and the same thing happens.

I would think that the probability of it being fried is probably greater.

Update: So I tried reinstalling Windows on the SSD and it did fine up until the very end. Then I got an error message saying "Windows could not prepare the computer to boot into the next phase of installation. To install Windows, restart the installation." Anyone have any ideas as to why a hard drive would appear fine, meaning I could open files on it, but refuse to boot?

Update 2: Ok so now after the failed reinstall I reboot the computer and get a message saying "Invalid signature, check secure boot."

Update 3: Updating BIOS did nothing.
