yeah, that's pretty much the way it is. You should have gotten a speaker with either the case of the motherboard: it plugs in to the header at the corner of the motherboard that the other front case connectors plug into.

the only time I ever had a repeat fail-POST loop like you have is when the CPU was either poorly seated, or the CPU wasn't supported by the motherboard it was installed in. Perhaps I am wrong in making the assumption that your motherboard and CPU are compatible?

The good news: you're only slightly screwed.
The bad news: * For 7th Generation Intel® Core™ processors support need to update the latest BIOS.

Yeah, the board you have has the F3 (or earlier) BIOS, you need the F20 or later BIOS. I have personally run into this on the GA-H110M-A motherboard. There are only 2 solutions:
1) Get an RMA from Gigabyte, return the motherboard so they can upgrade the BIOS
2) Find a 6th gen CPU (I keep a spare Celeron G3900 around for just this purpose), install it, update the BIOS, remove the Celeron and reinstall your i7-7700.

I apologize. The thing is, if you'd had the speaker, we could have talked about the 4 beeps between each shut down and figured this out quicker.
