Question Stuck in grey screen

So my friend built his pc and has had a few problems. At first he could play games normally then his FPS would drop and his USB ports would stop working. I checked his thermals and did a prime 95 test and they were normal. Today his computer said that his boot drive wasnt working but that was an easy fix because his ssd wasn’t plugged in. Now it just goes to a grey screen. One thing said to unplug the computer then plug it back in and that worked but then we saw his hard drive wouldn’t show up so we shut it down and that wasn’t plugged in either. Now we are stuck in the grey screen of death no matter how many times we unplug the computer. Also sometimes his cpu led turns on and the computer won’t boot and then it’ll randomly boot the next time. The motherboard he has is the b450 tomahawk max.

Sorry, it is a ryzen 5 3600, rtx 2070, it has 2 2 tb hard drives and a 500 gig crucial mx500 ssd. The cooler the the cooler master hyper 212 black rgb. Also he got windows on his ssd with a flash drive

Was this a full fresh installation?

I'd certainly remove the 2 TB hard drives for now, get as much out of the mix as possible.
