So here's the [strike]story[/strike] problem, recently i've been experiencing TDR problem with my gt220 after updating the driver to 320 (i forgot the previous installed driver version since i didn't updated it like a year or so) and i kept getting it even after reverting the driver to 275 and another version (and yes i used driver sweeper in safe mode to clean the previous installed driver).
After many time spent on the net reading some forums i decided to underclock the gpu clock by 25MHz (from 625MHz to 600MHz) using evga precision x.
it seem to fix the TDR problem. but it make new problem, you know, when the card is in idle it revert back to PCI-e 1.1 x16 from PCI-e 2.0 x16 right?.
when im playing some games or run render test for the first time when computer boot up, in GPU-Z showed it changed from 1.1 to 2.0 and after like some hour or some idle to full load cycle (Im not sure). it stuck in PCI- 1.1 x16 and it wont change to 2.0 when i try to play games or running the render test.
it lowered the frecuencies of the gpu clock to 400MHz.
And because of that it lowered my fps in "World of tanks" by 20-30 fps(from 50-60 fps to 20-25fps) .
That im asking you guys if you know what's the problem, and how to fix it.
and yeah here is my spec
CPU : Intel Pentium G630
MOBO : Asrock H61M-VS
MEMORY : DDR3 4gb single channel
Graphics card: Zotac GT220 GDDR3 1GB
PSU : Corsair CX500
