Stuck in safe mode, don't have password

Hello Internet,

I wanted to boot into safe mode. F8 was not working so I used command prompt, msconfig, boot tab, selected boot in safe mode, then reset.

Now I'm being prompted for my password which I don't remember because I've been using a 4 digit pin for 3 years. I reset my MS PW, but being in safe mode there is no network connection to receive the update.

Is there a way I can turn off safe mode before the login prompt? Anything in the UEFI setup utility I can use?

I'm very sorry but we do not assist in problem requiring bypassing security features so this thread is being closed.
I'm sure you would appreciate this policy should your laptop/devie ever be lost or stolen but If you have any questions please feel free to Message me or any moderator.

Since you seem to have a computer to use, perhaps you can use an alternate form of resetting your password. MS does give you the option to send it to your phone in addition the using email.
