Hey guys,

I was able to install and run the OS and set up my login. I was also able to install the video card drivers for my nvidia 980. I then proceeded to install the drivers on the disc that came with my asus x99 deluxe motherboard so I could begin to hook my new build up to the web.

Unfortunately, on the final restart for installing these, the computer got stuck on the "Starting Windows" screen. Nothing I have tried so far is having any impact. Appreciate all the help you guys have!

Solution
Install your mobo drivers from ASUS's website (the driver CD/DVD won't be current). Then install the GPU drivers (from the manufacturer's website).
Bad driver confilct, and worse case, you'll have to reinstall again, this time though, download all the latest drivers from the Asus site on a USB key or something and then install those instead of the ones from the disc and do all motherboard and chipset drivers before doing the graphics drivers.

Windows 7. I can't seem to boot into safe mode. How would I go about doing a full reinstall?

Edit: I am reinstalling now.
