Dear readers,
I recently wanted to install Ubuntu 15.04 alongside Windows 8.1. So I downloaded the .iso file and made my USB stick bootable.
I entered the UEFI BIOS and clicked on the button "Boot Menu". A new windows appears and I chose for my USB stick. But then the screen goes black and nothing happens, nothing for minutes.
I shut down the computer and started it again. Several times I did the same thing, in the hope to that it will work, but it did not.
The next I did was clicking on the other options, such as "Advanced Mode". When I hit "Advanced Mode" a window appears and then I click "Ok". As you already may have guessed, the window goes black again. This also happens if I hit the "Shortcuts" button and then one of the options that appear.
So this is what I tried to fix it. I shut down my computer, pulled out the plug and pulled out the CMOS Jumper. I put the Jumper into the other pins. Then I pressed the on-off button for 15seconds to reset it. Put the plug back in and started the computer again. Again I tried to boot from the USB or enter the "Advanced Mode". But the screen goes black again.
Then I tried to do the same, but this time I pulled out the CMOS battery instead of the Jumper. Again no result.

The weird thing is that I managed to install Ubuntu 15.04. But it happened unexpectedly. After I had rebooted my PC for the one billionth time I suddenly get the installation screen in front of me.
My specifications:
CPU: Intel i7 4790 @ 3.6GHz
GPU: Asus GTX 970 Strix
Mobo: Asus Sabertooth Z87 Mark I
RAM: 4x4GB Kingston HyperX Fury White
Power: Corsair RM1000
Memory: 1TB Western Digital HDD and 120GB SanDisk SSD
The BIOS software version is 1803.
I have a wireless Microsoft all in one keyboard and a RAT 5 mouse.
Note: I first had 4GB of RAM, then I purchased another kit. It is exactly the same kit. But before I purchased the kit it did not happen. After I purchased the kit it happened. Maybe it was already broken before I purchased the kit. But I can't know.
Note2: I am not a computer guru, I do not know a lot of terms and words. I do know the popular terms tough, but please keep in mind I am not an expert.
Please help me out. I am hopelessly lost and stuck in EZ mode.
Thank you for reading and taking the time to answer.
