Stuck on 54

Home network speed still at 54mb. I just changed out G router to a D-Link DIR 655/2 channel N. And updated Dell Laptop wth an internal express card N. Shouldnt it be working at 300mbs or sometning a litlle lower?

You're lucky to have a DSL speed that comes close to 54Mb, Bob. Mine is nearer 2Mb here in England so it matters not how fast it runs around the house - it can't increase that amount that comes in the front door. Do you have a specific need for high speed data transfer between networked machines or have you got a super fast Broadband connection.[/#000ff]
