hi, i've chosen all my parts on my system but i've had a problem with my motherboard of choice ( the P8Z77 V PRO) which has gone up to over £200 on Amazon which is way over my limit on my motherboard. ive searched around an it doesn't appear to be sold in many other places. I have seen it on newegg and its $164 (i think) but i don't think newegg delivers to the UK. my question is there anywhere in the UK that sells the P8Z77 V PRO are the LX or the LK any good compared to the V PRO.

My build consists of;
Case- corssair 650d
CPU - Intel 3rd gen core i5 3570k
Mobo - p8z77 v pro
Heat sink - cool master hyper 212 EVO
PSU - Corsair Gold 650W ATX/EPS Fully Modular
Ram corsair vengeance 8gb ddr3
Graphics card- asus nvidia GeForce 770 4gb
Hdd seagate 1 tb 7200 rpm
Ssd Sandisk Ultra Plus
Blue ray disk drive (undecided)
Is windows 7 home premium 64 bit

YouTube is an amazing resource that I think not enough people make use of. As for the wifi card, it's as simple as plugging it into the slot, just as you would with a graphics card :) To put your mind at rest your graphics card will fit into the Corsair case just fine. There will be at least 2 inches clearance at the end of the card, and the 650D has a removable...
I recommend the i5-4670K + 1150 Z87 motherboard.

If you still want the i5-3570K, there are plenty of choices through pcpartpicker.com

Here's a nice ASUS 1150 Z87 board for the i5-4670K:
http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-motherboard-z87plus

*GTX770 4GB:
I'm not sure what you're paying for that 4GB card, but just so you know there's no current need for more than 2GB on a GTX770. The exception is if you intend to add a second card later for for gaming above 1920x1080.

I don't want to start a war over this though. The Asus 2GB version is $329. I have basically the SAME card and have tested 200 games and never needed all of the 2GB of VRAM. There are cases where I could use more if I heavily MOD a game, or crank up the graphics settings but I can't do that AND maintain a good frame rate.

they both look good, but does newegg deliver to the UK? i do like the ASRock Extreme 6 how many USB 3 slots does it have? and is it compatable with my system? and support for the 770 4GB?

Use this link:
https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/

As for "support for the 770 4GB" I'm not sure what you mean. Any PCIe x16 slot will provide that so yes. For compatibility your checklist is:
a) ATX board (and ATX case)
b) same socket as CPU (i.e. 1150 for i5-4xxx, or 1155 for i5-3xxx)

You may also wish to ensure it has NVidia SLI support.

I also suggest WINDOWS 8 64-bit instead of Windows 7. If you don't like the new interface then use Start8, but W8 is superior in several ways and I don't think the Tiled Memory that future games support in DX11.2 will work in W7.

I didn't realise you were in England since you used $ and £ (Englishman living in Germany here!!) But no, Newegg don't deliver in England yet. I say yet because apparently they will be soon. In the meantime here are some solutions:

Yes, they are all ASRock, mostly because having used other brands this is the one that has never ever given me a single issue. :)

yeah i will want SLI i might do 2 770's or differant in the future and i know all that i was just confused about the PCIe 3.0/ 2.0. if i upgraded to 8.1 will i be able to get it like 7? i thought new egg didnt ive never used asrock before ive used asus hence why i was adiment about haveing an asus board but im up for trying a differant brand thanks for the links i might get the extreme 6.

I know the feeling. I used to swear by ASUS boards too, but in recent years I have become a devout ASRock fan. I own a Z77 pro3, my fiance has a Z77 Extreme 4 in her rig and we have a B75M-GL Rev 2.0 in our HTPC. As for your need for SLI, the Extreme 4 and 6 both support 2x pci-e 3.0@x8.

sounds awesome, yeah ill probably upgrade in the future will that be good enough for running the latest games. preferably on high at 1080p. im just stuck on a couple of parts the monitor and the disk drive i dont know which one to get i just thought id ask while im here

Monitors are fairly easy to choose from and as for the Blu Ray player, that would all depend on how often you'll be using the computer to watch blu rays :) If you give me a rough idea of budget and size, I'll see what I can find for you monitor wise.

well i want a dual monitor set up hence the 770 4gb preferably 2 24 inch screens one for games an the other for just web browsing or whatever my case is the corsair 650D i dont know much about disk drives to be honest ill watch films not often but i will ill write disks for music and do backups and stuff i dont really know

would my RAM be compatable with the ASRock extreme 6 its a Corsair CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9 Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600 Mhz CL9 XMP Performance Desktop Memory Kit Black ive allready bought the RAM so i hope it is aha

While the ram isn't specifically listed on the ASRock site for that specific board, Corsair say it is guaranteed to work with ALL dual channel compatible Intel based motherboards. From personal experience, owning a set of these http://www.corsair.com/en-us/vengeance-low-profile-16gb-dual-channel-ddr3-memory-kit-cml16gx3m4a1600c9 , I can say I have had no issues whatsoever with Corsair RAM on any of my ASRock boards, even those for which it isn't specifically listed.

And that's me off for the night (it's 23:30 here) I hope I've been able to help you make a good choice and address some of your concerns, if so please feel free to mark one of my answers as correct, and if you have any more questions I am quite certain other people are around to help, if not I'll be back in the morning :)

thanks :) as my question has been answered about the motherboard ill need help with the monitors and the disk drives if thats ok? ok aslong as they work thats fine i did look at there list i didnt see my set so i got worried as long as it works cause i might buy a second set so i hvae 16GB but thats for the future.

The ASUS VG238H is a great monitor.

it does look good, but its a little too much i was looking at £250 max but i don't know if that will get me a good monitor

Hi again!!

OK, so monitors it is! This should be easy. You say no more than £250? Cool beans, that is a fairly high budget, so how about some nice 27" IPS gaming panels?

http://www.amazon.co.uk/LG-27-inch-Flat-Panel-Display/dp/B008968O0U/ref=sr_1_6?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1394353302&sr=1-6&keywords=ips

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Philips-272C4QHSNB-AH-IPS-C-Line-Display/dp/B009O743I0/ref=sr_1_17?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1394353302&sr=1-17&keywords=ips

http://www.amazon.co.uk/VE278H-27-inch-Widescreen-Multimedia-Monitor/dp/B008I9BKWM/ref=sr_1_23?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1394353302&sr=1-23&keywords=ips

Those are all comfortably within the budget and all are pretty darn good monitors. My personal preference is for the LG IPS units. Super quick 2ms response times, great colour range with vibrant colours and super deep rich blacks, between my fiance and I we currently have 3 over 21" but I'd like to add a fourth one to that in a few months :)

hello, i tought that would be quite low to be honest. id like dual monitors one for gaming and the other for browsing an stuff so should i spend more on my gaming one and less on the general use one? im not sure a 27 inch and a 24 inch will fit on my desk its not the biggest of desks it can fit about 3 13" laptops on it using mine as a ruler because i dont have a tape mesure or a ruler.

And if you fancy saving some money, but not skimping on quality, here are some more for under £200

http://www.amazon.co.uk/LG-24EA53VQ-Screen-Speaker-System/dp/B00D4EEZNC/ref=sr_1_1?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1394353814&sr=1-1&keywords=ips This sucer comes with free speakers (I don't know why, but hey, free stuff right)

http://www.amazon.co.uk/ViewSonic-VX2270SMH-LED-1080p-Widescreen-Monitor/dp/B009F1HUMQ/ref=sr_1_19?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1394353904&sr=1-19&keywords=IPS A tasty little 22" Viewsonic model. Cheap, cheerful but with not the most stunning colour reproduction, that said I've had them in the past and they are sturdy, reliable and well under budget.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Acer-G246HYLbmjj-Widescreen-Monitor-EcoDisplay/dp/B00CTLZGAM/ref=sr_1_12?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1394353904&sr=1-12&keywords=IPS A nice Acer unit, only 23.8" but it is IPS and has good colour reproduction, wide viewing angle and super slim. Only a 5ms response time, but that is still more than enough for gaming on and comes in almost a full £100 under your top end budget :)

http://www.amazon.co.uk/AOC-I2757FH-Widescreen-Multimedia-1920x1080/dp/B00A46Y6DW/ref=sr_1_6?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1394353904&sr=1-6&keywords=IPS The pick of the bunch and a surprisingly good monitor for a low price. A 27" AOC monitor, incredibly stylish (I'd love one) 5ms response time and again, its an IPS, good colour reproduction in the higher ranges though super blacks can be hard to distinguish. Can feel a little flimsy and has a somewhat limited stand, but for the price it is an absolute steal.

There we go I hope some of those are what you were hoping for, let me know :)

Oh hi there!

Personally I'd stick with getting matching screens, and if 27" are too big then how about 22" ones?

im loving that 27" LG it just looks really nice. the second lot are better for the budget though cheers for the selection! the AOC is quite nice would two 24" be better than a 27" and a 24"?
