Stuck on gigabyte splash screen

I recently got a gtx 760 to put in my pc, about an hour before this i was using an amd r9 290 4gb windforce. Now my pc gives the post beep but it stays on the splash screen... HELPPP

So a few things. What mobo do you have? Do you see any debug code/led? Is the gpu securely inserted, and the little clip on the side clamped in? Did you hook the gpu up to the psu, with the right connector?

around 3 or 4days ago, I clear the CMOS and reseat everything when i stuck at splash screen, and it works, maybe you can try it to

My cpu is a amd fx 6300, psu is a seasonic 450w 80 plus, motherboard is a gigabyte 970 gaming and i have 8gb ddr3 ram, before all this my r9 worked fine about 3 hours now, and i know the psu is small but still.

And i have cleared my cmos, now it goes to bios and freezes after like 2 seconds

hmmm,, revert back to r9 still gives the same problem?

I traded cards, yeah the r9 is better but i got cash on top, im picking up an amd rx550 later, it doesn't require any extra connections so I'll see if that works

I mean, go back to use the R9 one, is the problem still persists? (doesn't matter if you traded it alr)

I can't go back, i don't have the card anymore

have you try re-seating everything?
or, have you clean the AMD Driver?
