Question Stuck on GNU GRUB Menu from removing Linux

Steven Villarreal

May 26, 2014
Hi, so I just bought a new laptop to replace my smaller lenovo yoga laptop. I am a computer science major in college so I needed to install Ubuntu on it to get through some classes. Since I will no longer be using it as I was going to give it to my parents I thought it would be a good idea to reset the SSD to factory condition and remove the Linux partitions. I followed a tutorial on youtube which seemed pretty reasonable with the last step being to rebuild the MBR. I then proceeded to reboot the laptop to see if it work and now I am now stuck on the GNU GRUB menu and cannot boot into windows. I have no idea what to do and do not want to trash the SSD but if I must I will. If anybody can help me that would be grateful.
