Stuck on "Lets connect you to a network" screen

I have just finished downloading windows from the boot cd and now the pc is currently stuck on the "lets connect you to a network" screen. i have plugged my lan cable with no avail, and I do not know if i need to or how to install mobo drivers since the computer is still in the primary stage of windows. There is no skip this step button.

Can you please elaborate as what do you see on the screen when you connect the LAN cable to your PC? A screenshot can be of some help.

Also, if you have a wireless router, can you please try connecting the computer to that?

If there's no SKIP button, you can try clicking the Back button if it's there. If not, you can try rebooting the PC, and see if things go well after that.
