Question Stuck on loading screen after Ryzen upgrade

I bought ryzen 3700x to upgrade from my 2600 and I've since been stuck on the loading screen for windows when booting for about half an hour before it goes in. So it does eventually get there but something is obviously wrong.

I used gigabytes app to download the necessary sequence of bios before installing and installed the chipset driver but still no luck.
Tried rolling back an update, checking if all drives were plugged in properly, setting the ram timings to deafualt and still nothing. Anyone have any ideas? I need to avli fresh install as I have many many apps that I would need to install for music production which would take weeks so keeping that as a last resort.

We tried windows repair with keeping all apps and files and it mentioned an error at the end and said there is one corrupted file which couldn't be fixed.

Definitely seems like a windows issue

Specs
32 gB ram geil 3222 speed. One was defective so I stuck another in and still same problem, even when using one stick

Gigabyte aorus 5 X470 wifi

Rtx 2080 Asus oc

750w antec psu

M. 2 Intel where windows is booting.

Windows 10 with latest 1909 upgrade and also tried to roll this back
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Corrupted files are not good.
Typically you want to do a full reinstall when you change critical components.

From an elevated command prompt or powershell:
sfc /scannow

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
If that finds any corruption :
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
