Stuck on Motherboard Splash Screen with M.2 SSD

I never had an issue like this occur before, i have my m.2 960 pro attached to a PCIe adapter from Asus for a few months now but i noticed today when i turned on my pc that i couldn't get past the splash screen. once i removed the M.2 PCIe adapter i was able to pass the splash screen just fine. Any reasons why this is happening?

If the mobo is an ASUS did you update the bios to a bios update that supports NVME?

Yeah, i just updated the bios but it didn't seem to fix the issue. I just removed the adapter and installed the SSD straight to the Motherboard but that didn't seem to work either.

Disable the logo in the bios. So, you can see what it's saying / doing on the post screen

If it hangs on the post screen its having probs reading the hdd

Whenever i plugin the NVMe and power on my PC it starts then turns off right away about 2-3 times, I just disabled the boot logo and installed the NVMe again but its just a black screen now.

yeah not sure what it can be, I've been playing with it since December just fine but when i turned on my PC today it just wouldn't get off the splash screen. Not sure if it's the Motherboard itself or the NVME.

i see this when iam plugging a faulty HDD on the system, iam not 100% sure, but it seems like your m.2 is faulty for some reason.
The fact that when you remove it everything is fine, is some other indication.If it is still in warranty try RMA it,or speak with where you bought it.
