Hello dear people,

I have never had problems with passing the POST screen of my motherboard when I boot my desktop. However, some days ago, I bought a new mouse(a computer mouse). Now, I do have troubles; I get stuck at the POST screen until I press any key on my keyboard. It seems very odd to me since that it never got stuck here before I changed my mouse.

I have tried to pull out the USB for my keyboard from my desktop with no change - it still gets stuck the same place. When I pull out the USB for my new mouse, it does not get stuck. If I am using my old computer mouse, it does not get stuck. So all clues point towards something related to my new mouse. I have also tried to use both USB 2 and 3 with the same results. The boot order is unchaged also - I cannot find any settings in the BIOS that have changed, but of couse, I might have missed something.

My new mouse is the Razor DeathAdder v2. My old mouse is Logitech M310.

(What I mean by POST screen is the screen that you get when you boot up your pc with the options to change boot order, go into the BIOS, etc.) Some information about my pc that might be useful, otherwise please ask for more: :D

So my question is: How can I not get stuck at the POST screen using my new mouse?

Solution
Disable the boot splash screen to see boot messages. Maybe there is one but is getting covered up. Another option might be to disable wait on error during POST.

Does the "any key" prompt provide any indication of what it is asking for a key for? BIOS does not normally prompt for a key unless there is a warning or error it wants you to know about.
No, it is not explicitly asking me to press any key. Before the problem occured, the very same POST screen also appeared(I would imagine that most motherboards show the POST screen). The only difference between now and before is that now I get stuck at this POST screen as opposed to before plugging in my new mouse.

The POST(or splash or whatever) is this
