stuck on setup is starting please help me

I have a five year old toshiba pc. i am 16 and was practicing c++ when we decided to pay a visit to my cousin's place. In the excitement , i force shut down the computer.
Next day windows wouldnt boot up properly. i tried to do clean install with windows 7 pendrive but it is stuck at setup is starting


funny thing is i have done clean installs of different windows versions properly until now.

need an answer quick.. please help

Possibly a damaged harddrive. You want to try to always let the drive power down before turning it off to avoid the head crashing against the platter.

Download the drive manufacturers diagnostic software to test the drive.
