Hi all, I got a Samsung SyncMaster S24A850DW 24" LED LCD Monitor for Christmas, and it has been great so far.
Its a 1920x1200 res monitor with a PLS screen. (Samsung's term for IPS) Its been great with great color accuracy and stuff, but after a few days of use, I decided to check it correctly for dead/stuck pixels.
Well it turns out that it does have a stuck pixel in the top right center of the screen. I have tried running stuck pixel fixer programs that flash colors on the screen leaving them on for hours so it doesn't seem like its going to fix itself. Its a bright red color and is very, very annoying now that I spotted it.
Should I or could I return it for a replacement? Or is there anything else I can try to fix the stuck pixel because guides tell
me that sometimes they can become unstuck. I got it on Amazon.
