Stuck with Egpu Setup

Hi all, I currently have windows 10 Pro and have used the [Mini PCI-E Version] V8.0 EXP GDC Beast to connect my GTX980ti with Corsair CX600P/S all hooked up and the hardware is fine windows detects my 980 fine, My BIOS doesn't have the option to disable my DGPU and Nvidia optimus says there is no display attached to my 980, I tried connecting a hdmi dummy plug to my 980 which then lets me access NVidia control panel, as soon as I remove the dummy plug the control panel closes this, I have currently rolled back to windows 8.1 to try the same way, Any help or suggestions to where I'm going wrong would be greatly appreciated.

With that egpu you have to use an external monitor connected to it, the egpu is not going to run the laptop display.

I've managed to get it sorted about 10 mins ago, i used Nando's DIY EGPU software enabling me to turn off my DGPU so all is sorted now thank you.
