Question Studio Headphone + Mod Mic vs Gaming Headset

So i was browsing around the headphone world and found a good pair of studio headphones. I noticed it doesn't have mic. Then i also look at gaming headset. So my question is should i buy Studio headphone (around 100 dollars, for example the Audio Technica M40x ) + mod mic 4.0 (around 70 dollars) or buy a (around) 170 dollar gaming headset (for example the arctis 7) ???

Arctis 5 to an Arctis 7, now? I would say the audio quality on studio monitor headphones is much better but that will depend primarily on the brand you're buying off of. Are you looking at the AT M40X?

Yes i was leaning more on the AT M40X With mod mic, but is this better than just buying a gaming headset for the same price ?
