Studio Monitors for Computer

Looking into some high end Studio Monitors for my new build. Was curious if anyone uses studio monitors are just uses computer speakers like logitechs or something like that?

You can use them, as long as they are powered. Sound good, although they take up a lot more desk space than a regular 2.1 setup. I have M-Audio AV30 in the bedroom, sound amazing, although they are not very "high end". AV20 should sound the same and be cheaper, they look to use the same exact cabinet and speakers as the 30s. To get about the same quality in Logitechs you'd want to get one of their THX certified speakers, their other models are good, but lack a bit clarity and punch compared to the higher-end series.

I have a pioneer vsx-30 reciever klipsh quintet iv speakers and a 450w sub on mine. The average person can make due with logitech though.
