Stupid Monitor, or dumb Graphics card

Ok, my computer went crazy. I left it on while i went into the shower, and when i came back, it was GOING CRAZY! The screen was flash a whole bunch of different colors. Before that, My montor was acting funny, at it looked like its refresh rate went down everytime i moved my mouse, so is which is being an ass? My monitor or my card?

Did you try turning off your monitor, then starting it up again? I think it's the monitor, unless you have an old video card. More info?

Probably your graphics card. If it's the monitor then those are very strange anomalies.

Try changing your monitor, if you have an old one lying around it might be useful.
