Stupid question about white and red input and sound card

I just got a sound card and a logitech computer sound system. The sound system has the red and white audio input and the sound card has orange black green pink plugins.... how do i connect these? Sorry, I realize this is probably a dumb question..

The GREEN output is for STEREO output to your FRONT speakers.

Your logitech speakers will have a MANUAL explaining the setup.

Assuming you ONLY have the red/white input then it's likely you have STEREO speakers. In which case you would use this wire:

PC sound card end-> GREEN, 3.5mm jack

SPEAKER end-> two jacks, one red and one white

*You'll have a main speaker (or subwoofer) with the amplifier; this is connected to the sound card. It will connect with a wire or wires to the other speaker or speakers.

Your speakers should have a MANUAL for how to hook up the cables. If not, you can find one from the Logitech store.

I found a bad video, but it seems pretty straightforward to me:

1. GREEN jack on right speaker goes into GREEN output on audio card.

2. Rest of the cables are obvious.

This is a 2-channel setup. You will get LEFT and RIGHT separation, and the Subwoofer just plays the lower frequencies.

Other:
- disable the onboard audio in your BIOS if not already done
- install the latest SOFTWARE for your sound card (from sound cards website)
- make sure you are set to STEREO mode in your audio card's control panel
