i have 2 m.2 can i use 1 512gb for my boot and a 1tb for storage I am pretty sure i can but never have never done m.2 thanks for any help you can give me

OS and programs don't care which type of disks you have, only your motherboard.

well i have a new mb aorus pro wifi and samsung m.2 evo plus 250 gb boot evoplus 1 tb storage going with a i9-9900k this my last change

Therre's nothing stopping you to use both and install programs/games and use secondary M.2 any way you want,just like with any other kind of storage.
